Snowboard Level System Kids

This is my first time on a snowboard.

Getting used to the board – sliding diagonally and traversing – changing direction with a basic turn – slowing down and stopping – using the ski lift

I can already ride a few turns.

Confident cornering – Introduction to weight transfer – 360° slope spin – Short fakie runs – Riding on gentle terrain

I can ride all the turns with reasonable confidence and would like to focus on further exercises.

Turns with weight shift – tilt turns – changes of direction using the edges – first jumps and ollies – riding on moderate terrain

Introduction to carving – turning using the edges – steep-slope turns – off-piste jumps – riding fakie – piste jumps

Frequently asked questions about the group snowboard course

We recommend snowboarding from around 6 years of age. Younger children often find it easier to start with skiing. We’d be happy to advise you when you make the booking.

No, equipment can be hired directly in Davos. We recommend that you sort out your equipment before the course starts, so that the first day of the course goes smoothly.

The snowboard group course is specifically designed for snowboarding. The learning objectives, exercises and equipment differ from those used in skiing. Everything else – group structure, times, meeting point – remains the same.
